Mohsen Chavoshi Hosseini (born on August 8, 1358) is an Iranian singer, songwriter and composer. Chavoshi started his career in the field of music in 1382 with the album Neferin and after five years of underground activity and producing three more albums, he was able to Receive an official permit from the Ministry of Guidance for a lotus branch (2008). So far, he has released 11 official studio albums and for Amir Bigazand (2015), he has won the Barbad Award for the best pop album from the 32nd Fajr Music Festival. Chavoshi's boldness in using different musical styles and songs, as well as his reactions to the events of the day, have made his fans call him Mr. Khas. Part of Chavoshi's widespread fame is related to composing and singing for movies and TV series. Century (1385) was the first film that Chavoshi was in charge of creating the soundtrack and credits for, and won awards for it, which had an impact on the continuation of his professional activities. Years later, Chavoshi made some songs for all three seasons of Shahrazad series (1394), which were published simultaneously with the episodes of the series. Even though Chavoshi has a low presence in social circles and has not held a concert yet, he has faced marginalization throughout his years of activity. Among other things, because of his strong criticism of the responsible institutions during social crises, there have been many rumors of his ban from work. However, Chavoshi's numerous collaborations with governmental institutions have caused some people to label him as a government singer.
