Maya X. M. T. (born July 9, 2000) known professionally as mxmtoon is an American singer-songwriter and YouTuber. Maya is a bisexual woman of color from an immigrant family who currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, where she writes, records, and produces her songs in the house she shares with her younger brother. He graduated from high school in 2019, and his parents used to listen to Arandby and hip-hop songs during his youth, which included songs from Salt N Pippa and A Tribe Called Quest; Maya still listens to those songs "because of the nostalgia."
