Pink-Floyd

Pink Floyd is an English rock band that was founded in London in 1965. This group is one of the most influential English rock music groups, which was able to achieve international success with progressive and psychedelic music, meaningful lyrics and the use of sound experiences and creating live performances, and became one of the most popular and influential music groups. Pink Floyd was formed in 1965 by former students Syd Burt, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Richard Wright. They released two hit singles in the late 60s under the leadership of Sid Burt. After that, they released their first album titled "Nizen Ber Dar Gawateh Sapideh Dem" which was a successful work and made them famous. David Gilmour joined the band in December 1968 as the fifth member, gradually replacing Syd Brett, who had lost his mental health due to an overdose of the hallucinogen LSD. After Brett's departure from Pink Floyd, Roger Waters became the band's main lyricist and further cemented his position. It was during this time that Pink Floyd gained world fame with concept albums such as Dark Half of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), Wall (1979) and Final Cut (1983). Richard Wright left the band in 1979 due to personal problems with Waters. Waters also left Pink Floyd in 1985, so that Gilmour became the leader of Pink Floyd. After Waters left the group, along with Nick Mason, he insisted on the survival of Pink Floyd, which caused conflict between the remaining members of the group and Waters. Eventually, Waters reluctantly agreed to continue Pink Floyd's work without him, after which Pink Floyd released two albums without Waters and led by David Gilmour, Moments of Sanity (1987) and Parting Bell (1994).
